Join us for the 5th year of this epic trail event, where beach meets mountains and adventure meets thrill. Lace up and let's take on the rugged trails of Calatagan!




Sea-to-Summit Trail Run Series 2026 is a 3-leg event in Batangas where runners will start at the beach or coastal area, then trail run to the peak and back, depending on the finish area's location.

START AND FINISH: Brgy. Hukay, Calatagan, Batangas

Race Distances and Start times:
25km June 13, 2026  5:30am - 1:00pm (End) [7.5 hours cutoff ]- intermediate cutoff: (TBA)
15km June 13, 2026  5:45am – 12nn (End)  [6.5hours cutoff]

Rules and guidelines

Please note that this event involves inherent risks. This event comes with natural challenges. To ensure safety, participants must meet the following requirements and must be prepared.

REGISTRATION:
1.     Must be physically fit.
2.     17 years old and below must download, print and signed the consent and waiver form by the Parents or Guardian (must be presented upon kit claiming).
3.     Registration is nonrefundable.
4.     Transferring registrations is NOT allowed.
5.     We use your registration funds to pay for the necessary items and services needed to host the event. With that in mind, refunds will not be provided for this event unless the event is cancelled for reasons within our control.  The following are examples (but not limited to) of reasons an event might be cancelled that are NOT within our control: Dangerous weather; natural disasters; pandemics; acts of terrorism; local emergencies; government mandates; and any situation creating a threat to safety of participants, volunteers, staff or bystanders.

MANDATORY GEAR
- Torch or headlamp (for 32km participants)
- Hydration at least 1L capacity
- Trail food
- Fully charge cellphone with load
- Basic first aid kit (must contain the following: at least - cleansing pad or betadine, gauze pad, adhesive tape)
- Medicine kit (must contain at least: antihistamine, anti-acid, paracetamol, personal meds)
- Whistle
- Collapsible cup

VENUE (START AND FINISH): Brgy. Hukay, Calatagan, Batangas

      starts from 3:00pm - 5:30pm, June 12 (Friday) and
               3:00am - 5:00am, June 13, 2026 (Saturday).

During the event:
1. No bib number changes or substitutions allowed.
2. Mandatory gear must be carried.
3. Bib numbers must be visible at all times.
4. Carry essential snacks and hydration to sustain yourself between aid stations.
5. Present bib numbers to marshals at checkpoints for recording.
6. Cut-off times are strictly enforced; no exceptions.
7. Notify race director or nearest marshal before declaring DNF.
8. DNF participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses.

GROUNDS FOR DISQUALFICATION
1. Loss or alteration of official BIB number.
2. Failure to carry mandatory gear(s)*.
3. Cheating, shortcutting, or tampering with course markings
4. Participation by unregistered runners or unauthorized pacers.
5. +2 hours penalty for each missing mandatory. Failure to present more than 2 mandatory items will result in automatic disqualification. 

COMPLAINT PROCEDURE:
Submit written, signed complaints to the race director within 24 hours of the event.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
All categories will start and finish at Brgy. Hukay, Calatagan, Batangas*

The route combines open trails and public roads. Exercise extreme caution when descending and navigating technical sections. On public roads, keep right. Trail courtesy is expected; yield to faster runners.

The course will be clearly marked with trail signs, ribbons and caution indicators to facilitate navigation.

Marshals will be positioned at strategic points along the course. Note: Getting lost will result in no time credits.

Designated aid and water station(s) will be available at strategic points along the course. Checkpoints are place along the course.

The race director/ organizer reserves the right to modify rules and/or the race route at any time, including during the event, to ensure participant safety and welfare.

The event is race-or-shine. Cancellation/ postponement notices will be issued 48 hours prior, only if uncontrollable factors (e.g. severe weather, safety risks) necessitate).
